About

Inner Tennis is an introspective app for tennis players who want to understand themselves under pressure. Through short texts, chapter assignments, and personal notes, the app explores awareness, habits, emotions, attention, and growth through the lens of competition.

Most tennis players train technique, fitness, and tactics for years, but give far less attention to the internal side of performance. Inner Tennis was designed as a quieter complement to traditional training — focused on self-observation, clarity, and personal responsibility.

The app was created by mental tennis coach Ajdin Kolonić, author of The Mental Habits of Winners. While the book explains structured mental routines and the Triple-5 mental strength model, Inner Tennis approaches the same subject from a more philosophical and personal angle.

Many ideas and themes in the app were inspired by the psychological teachings found in the works of Carlos Castaneda, then adapted into a tennis-specific context focused on awareness, emotional control, intentional practice, and the player’s relationship with pressure.

Read slowly. Make notes. Revisit your thoughts over time. Most importantly, complete the chapter assignments and use them as a tool for honest self-observation.

Inner Tennis is not about motivation or hype. It is about becoming more aware of how you think, react, and perform under pressure.
